Every year this day I used to ask myself...what's the big deal?
Oh yes! As a student I was always easily influenced by the big havoc and ruckus created around me. No denying the media has a big impact on our lives. Knowingly or unknowingly it influences our lives in a larger or minute way.
As I grew up I started reasoning and understanding things going around me. Oh hell! it was not easy to give in to the fact that I was fooled so many years into believing that there has to be a day where you make someone feel special. With so many Indians going against the western idea of celebrating Valentines day...the media again gave it a twist. Its not only for that special someone..its for your parents,or elders or anyone you like. Are you kidding me?! This business always works. Play with emotions and earn your profits. Hell no, am not like against anyone or anything but the whole thing kind of irritates me. But its like....you know...jab tak chalta hai chalne do.. kind of thing.
Ofcourse there are a lot of people out there not tuning with my thoughts but I seriously dont mind. 'Coz in course of time you will realise finding red roses by your doorstep on some random day will make you more happy than expecting it on this day. I personally feel its those small nothings that you share everyday makes life blissful....and if you really are so busy that you need a 'day' to express what you feel...then I cant feel more sorry for you. You haven't lived your life yet.
I guess its high time we stop imitating and start setting examples. Influence and not get influenced. Set an impact that shall last for centuries together. If we take a step, Allahji has promised to proceed with a leap.....Its high time friends to realise and act sensibly! [no offense]
Its like 3 in the morning and wondering what I am doing at this hour......well when else do you expect me to write with 2 kids dancing on my head all day long! [laughing out reall loud at that!]
